Annual Mahwah Day Is Saturday
There will be lots to do and see, including a fireworks show at night. Kids can enjoy carnival rides and a petting zoo.

MAHWAH, NJ — The annual Mahwah Day is Saturday at the Commodore Perry Field Complex.
The festivities begin at noon with a parade from Miller Road to East Ramapo Avenue to Commodore Perry Field.
Dozens of local civic organizations, businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, and houses will have booths where they will hand out information and swag.

The following rides and attractions will be there:
- Pony rides
- Carnival games
- Children's rides
- Pumpkin painting
- Petting zoo
- Dixie copter
- Hippo chow down
- Rock climbing wall
- Bungee trampoline
- Mechanical bull
- Wrecking bull
Fireworks will close the event at 8 p.m.

There will be a dog show at 2 p.m. Entry costs $3 per dog. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Best looking, best trick, and best dressed.
Attendees can drop off their unused or expired medications to a special drop box sponsored by the Mahwah Police Department's Mahwah Municipal Alliance. (See related: Drop Off Unwanted, Expired Medications At Mahwah Day Saturday)
