BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — This week's nor'easter snowstorm brought over 20 inches of snow to parts of Bergen County.

It forced school cancelations, caused sketchy road conditions and created a lot of work for Department of Public Works employees across the county.

But it also created plenty of wonderful images from Patch readers.

There's a chance that the storm even broke records, but an Operator at the NWS's Mount Holly office told Patch this week that the record books will take some time to update if records were in fact broken.

Snowfall records are generally measured over a 24-hour period. With this week's storm stretching over 24 hours, weather officials will face a unique challenge.
