Bergen Police Officer Throws Out 1st Pitch For NY Mets [Video]
Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Estevez stopped an ISIS-inspired terrorist with a crude bomb strapped to his chest in NYC in December.
A police officer from Bergen County who helped stop an ISIS-inspired terrorist in Manhattan last year threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the Mets' opening day game Thursday.
Anthony Estevez helped on the scene in December when Akayed Ullah allegedly detonated a crude bomb strapped to his chest inside the subway station under the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The device was similar to a pipe bomb.
Estevez and three other Port Authority officers, Lt. Mariam Rubio, Sgt. Hector Martinez, Sgt. Victor Talimini, assisted with that incident and another in New York City in November.
