Dante Rivera, 7 Months Old, Of Mahwah, Dies
Rivera died after he 'fought a good fight,' his obituary states.
MAHWAH, NJ — Seven-month-old Dante Malik Rivera of Mahwah died Dec. 14.
Rivera and his twin sister Ariyah Monet Rivera were born April 17. Rivera "fought a good fight," his obituary states.
He is survived by his parents Yolanda Yvette Lafayette and Jorge Rivera, of Mahwah; sisters Amya Beauvais of Mahwah and Emily Rivera, of Suffern, New York; brother Isaiah; maternal grandparents Elmore and Mary Joyce Wilson both of Mahwah; maternal great-grandmothers Estelle Ratliff of Louisiana and Sally Wilson of Mahwah; aunts Alicia, Tanya, Sherie, Stephanie, Keisha and Jazmine; uncles Michael Wilson and Marcus Ratliff; cousins Abriana Wilson and Tristan Wilson and a host of other family and friends.

"Dante was loved by many and will be remembered for his strength and his fight for life," his obituary states. He was a "true blessing to all who knew him."
A funeral service was held Dec. 21.
