Darlington Avenue Road Resurfacing Project Underway

The road is closed for milling and paving.

MAHWAH, NJ — The Darlington Avenue resurfacing project is underway. Work began Monday. It is expected to take one week to complete.

Work will be done on Darlington Avenue from Route 202 in Mahwah to Hosking Way in Ramsey. Work was slated to done last week, but it was pushed back to this week.

Darlington was closed Monday. It will tentatively be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for milling work and while the road is repaved, said Police Chief James Batelli. School buses will be able to use the road.

Motorists should expect delays on the area and plan for extra time when traveling near where work will be done.
