Film At Mahwah Library Celebrates WWI Centennial

'La Grande Illusion' will be followed by a discussion from Professor Thomas Heed of Ramapo College.

MAHWAH, NJ — In celebration of the centennial of World War I, a special film screening and lecture will be held at the Mahwah Public Library soon.

"La Grande Illusion" is about two French soldiers who are captured and imprisoned in a German prisoners of war camp and try to escape.

The film will be followed by a discussion with Professor Thomas Heed, the former dean of American and International Studies at Ramapo College. He leads lectures on the United States in World War I and World War II.
