Guitarist Bill Frisell To Perform At Les Paul Festival In Mahwah

Frisell has been one of the leading jazz guitarists since the 1980s.

MAHWAH, NJ — Jazz guitarist Bill Frisell will headline the Les Paul Festival Concert at Ramapo College of New Jersey Feb. 16.

Frisell will hold a question and answer session with students at the Sharp Theater before the concert.

Paul lived part of his life in Mahwah. He was a famous guitarist and innovator. He died in 2009. The Mahwah Museum commemorated his life and contributions to music with an exhibit that was up for two years.

The Les Paul Foundation is one of the festival's sponsor. It works to further music education, recording, innovation, and medical research.
