3 Injured In Rt. 17 Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer: Police
Firefighters had to extricate the driver of a car that crashed into a tractor-trailer, police said.
Three people were injured when a Toyota and tractor-trailer collided on Route 17 North in Lodi, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m.. The Toyota's driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Rochelle Park Fire Department, said Rochelle Park Police Lt. Glen Brunet.
The driver and a passenger in the jack-knifed tractor-trailer were also injured, Brunet said.

The extent of the injuries was unknown, Brunet said. Police were still investigating the crash Tuesday afternoon.
The crash closed northbound Route 17 for about two hours, causing major delays in the area.
