James Wysocki Sworn In As Mahwah Mayor
Wysocki, a former member of the Township Council, was sworn in during a Monday reorganization session.
MAHWAH, NJ — Jim Wysocki, a former Township Council member, was sworn in as Mayor of Mahwah during the township's realignment session Monday.
In addition to Wysocki, who replaces the often embattled John Roth, Kimberly Bolan, David May and Michelle Paz will also be sworn in.
A life-long resident of Mahwah, Wysocki was elected to the council in 2016.

He took to Facebook to share his thoughts on his latest role.
"Tonight, I had the honor and privilege of being sworn in as the Mayor of Mahwah. Congratulations to re-elected Council members Dave May and Michelle Paz, and new Council member Kim Bolan who were also sworn in this evening. Lastly, we officially welcome Business Administrator, Ben Kezmarsky to Town Hall. Thank you to everyone for your support. I am really looking forward to the next 4 years," he wrote.

He is a graduate of Mahwah High School in 1980 and is a retired police officer and volunteer firefighter.
During the November elections, Wysocki beat out Howard Waldrop for the mayor's seat.
May, Bolan and Paz won three available seats on the council, beating out Constance Byrne.
