Mahwah Hosts Free Rabies Clinic

MAHWAH, NJ — The Board of Health is hosting a free drive-thru rabies vaccine clinic.

Scheduled for March 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the clinic will be at the Mahwah Municipal Building, 475 Corporate Dr. The event is for New Jersey residents only.

Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in carriers. The clinic has a limit of three pets per vehicle.

Social distancing protocols will be enforced, and masks must be worn. Here's what else to know:

• Bring proof of your pets' prior vaccination, if available
• "No aggressive animals, please."
• All animals will exit vehicles for vaccination
• There won't be a license opportunity at this clinic
