Mahwah Recreation League Softball Is Back For 2021
Women's and men's softball leagues are returning after a hiatus in 2020.
MAHWAH, NJ — The recreation department announced the return of recreational softball leagues after a hiatus in 2020.
Safety and social distancing guidelines will be in effect, but the coronavirus won't suspend the league as it did in 2020.

Mahwah Men's Residential Softball League
Mahwah recreation is sponsoring a men’s softball league this summer. Games will begin June 7 and continue through mid-August. All participants must be Mahwah residents, and turn 18 by June 7.

Games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. at Continental Soldiers or Commodore Perry fields.
Mahwah Women's Softball
Mahwah Recreation is also sponsoring a woman’s softball league.
"We now accept players from surrounding Bergen County towns in order to provide our residents with a bigger, better program," officials said.
Games will begin June 8 and continue through mid-August. All participants must turn 18 by June 8. Games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. at Continental Soldiers or Commodore Perry fields.
Registration
First time participants must register in person at Continental Soldiers Park on Wednesday, May 12, or Wednesday, May 19 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Proof of residency required.
