A Mahwah Resident Is $10,000 Richer After Big Lotto Win
The Mega Millions Jackpot has climbed to $174 million.

MAHWAH, NJ — One lucky Mahwah resident is $10,000 richer this week after hitting the third-tier prize in a game of Mega Millions.
According to a release from the New Jersey Lottery, the winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the gold ball, automatically qualifying the winner for the $10,000 prize.
The winning ticket was sold at 193 Valero located at 193 Route 17 North in Mahwah.

One person in nearby Edison brought home a $2 million prize in the same drawing. According to the state lottery, the ticket matched all five white balls, scoring a $1 million win. The ticket also had a Megaplier, bringing the total win to $2 million.
The ticket was sold at the Shoprite located at Route 1 and Old Post Road in Edison.

Eleven players in the state matched four of the five white balls, winning them each $500. One of the winners also had a Megaplier, bringing his or her total win to $1,000.
The state lotto said 18,625 other New Jerseans took home a total of $73,134 in prizes between $2 and $400.
The winning numbers for the April 21 draw were 13, 15, 24, 67, and 70. The Gold Mega Ball was 17, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
The next drawing will be held Friday, April 24 at 11 a.m. Tickets must be purchased before 10:45 a.m. to qualify for the drawing.
