Mahwah's Pony Power Slated For July 1 Reopening

Pony Power Therapies has opened registration for the farm's summer non-riding program, the first phase of their reopening plan.

MAHWAH, NJ — Pony Power Therapies will open their Mahwah farm beginning on July 1, as part of their phase-one reopening effort.

Pony Power is located on a 13-acre, barrier free campus, which is home to 22 horses, six chickens, three goats, three beehives and two pigs.

According to their website, "Pony Power Therapies uses horses and an accessible farm to enhance the physical, social and emotional well-being of children and adults who need extra support."

Registration is open as of Monday for a summer non-riding program, which, according to a news release, will allow participants to interact with all aspects of the farm, including the animals, nature trails and vegetable garden.

An instructor will serve as a guide for the family or individuals time on the farm.
