Puppies And Kittens Looking For New Families

Welcome to Future Friends, a weekly Patch column highlighting a selection of adoptable pets from around the area. This week's pets hail from Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) and Special Needs K9 (SNK9). For more pets, visitRBARI's open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

Squish (RBARI)

This domestic short hair-black and white kitten is a cute, curious little lady who likes to play and cuddle in equal measure

Liza (RBARI)

This young dilute calico has a wonderful personality and would love to have someone to talk to.

Cocker Pups (RBARI)

These babies were born Christmas Eve at the county shelter after their poor mother had been surrendered about to give birth. They have been in foster homes ever since. They are now ready for adoption. There are three males and one female, the female is black and there are 2 tan males and one black male.

Jenna (RBARI)

A super sweet doberman pinscher, Jenna was surrendered because she was experiencing anxiety once the baby came along. Jenna was never aggressive to the baby, but rather just wanted to remain the baby in her house. Now she is looking for a home where she can be number one. She is great with dogs and has no behavior issues.

If you are interested in any RBARI pet, complete their Online Adoption Application or visit the shelter during adoption hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 8 p.m.  Wednesdays from 12 to 4 p.m., by appointment only, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Sara (SNK9)

Sara is a one to two year old sweet chocolate Lab/ Pit mix. She is great with people as well as with other dogs. She is very smart and is responding well to training. She does not have any physical special needs, but Sara was suffering from serious kennel stress at a shelter and had to be removed from that environment. Sara needs daily exercise and proper leadership. If you would like to meet this great dog please contact SNK9.
