The actress and comedian was at the mega-mall Monday to celebrate the grand opening of her pop up shop.
EAST RUTHERFORD,NJ – Whoopi Goldberg launched a pop-up shop Monday at American Dream, which features pieces from her clothing line and recently-launched book.
To celebrate the opening of the store – which will be the Meadowlands megamall’s first retail business – the actress and TV personality was on hand to greet shoppers and sign purchased merchandise.
Besides ready-to-wear pieces from the comedian’s Dugbee collectionand her book “The Unqualified Hostess,” “Whoopi = American Dream” sells Goldberg’s holiday sweater collection.

Monday’s grand opening celebration also featured an opportunity for shoppers to have their Dugbee pieces hand-painted by Goldberg’s granddaughter, Amarah Skye, or to try out some new lip shades at lip stations set up by future American Dream tenant Sephora.
The store will be open through January 2020 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, according to the mall.

The massive $5 billion shopping and entertainment venueopened Oct. 25.
For now, Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and an NHL-size ice rink are ready for the public. Other attractions, shopping and dining will follow over the next several months.
On Nov. 27, DreamWorks Water Park, an indoor water park that will include the world's largest indoor water coaster, a free fall slide with a 70-foot drop, a lazy river and a 1.5-acre wave pool is set to open.
Big SNOW, the country's only indoor real-snow park, will open Dec. 5. It will offer skiing, snowboarding, introductory lessons, private coaching, children's programs, snow play, corporate team building and private events within its 180,000-square-foot, 16-story, climate controlled facility.
