Stephen A. Smith doesn’t speak for me!!!

No one is happier than me about the communications revolution we are experiencing today. There are so many different ways of communicating and entertaining each other and thousands of opportunities have been created along the way. Thankfully many of these opportunities are being shared among ALL that apply, a wonderful diversity of voices has been found

In sports, along with news and other entertainment many voices of minorities now hold substantial positions of power and recognition, sometimes in our lives daily. Along with the obligation to inform/entertain the audience comes another obligation---to be sure of sound reasoning and care when making wide ranging proclamations,

Which brings us to the one and only Mr. Smith of ESPN/Sirrius Radio/ ESPN radio. Once again his mouth has preceded his mind---at least I hope so because the end result is a comment of sheer stupidity and offense to the masses.

When asked Tiger simply said he supports and respects the office of the President of the United States whoever or whatever that might be.

I agree with Tiger.

First off let me say that there are some things I admire and despise about Tiger Woods and our 45th President. It is undeniable that both are excellent at some things and not so good at others. To say that one is preferred over the other simply because of race contradicts one of Dr, King’s strongest edicts…..character over color.

Many folks like Stephen A. seem to resent Tiger because of his claim to be multicultural----that’s exactly what he is!!! For Tiger to disavow any of the cultures of his heritage is not for Smith or anyone to imply. Like many of us who are multicultural Tiger has never denied being of a mixed ancestry—he is what his parents made him. For Smith and others to disagree with Tiger, Trump, or even yours truly is an American right but to do so simply because of the color of his skin is ludicrous, sad, and wrong
