400 Still Without Power in Brielle

A car hit a pole on Union Lane, Brielle, at about 10:17 a.m. Wed., causing a power failure, according to Gerry Ricciardi, JCP&L area manager.

The nearest cross Street is Brielle Avenue. 

At 2 p.m., 427 customers still without power in Brielle, but no nearby towns have reported outages according to the utility company.

"We hope to pick up the majority of customers within the next hour and the remainder by 4:30 p.m.," he said.
