Eight more Manasquan students have COVID-19, officials said this week.

MANASQUAN - Eight more Manasquan students have COVID-19, officials said this week.

The district was notified that three Manasquan High School students received positive COVID-19 test results. One of these students has not been in the building since prior to the closure/holiday recess and two of the students were last in the building January 7 and January 11.

Also, four Manasquan High School students and one Manasquan Elementary School student received positive COVID-19 test results. One of the high school students has not been in the building since prior to the closure/holiday recess and the others were last in the building January 4, 5, and 7. The elementary school student was last in the building yesterday, Tuesday, January 12.

The district has engaged in contact tracing. As of the time of this notice, notifications to any close contacts have begun.
