Around Half Of Eligible Manasquan Residents Are Vaccinated

In new data from the state's Department of Health, 96 percent of seniors living in Manasquan have gotten partially vaccinated.

MANASQUAN – Close to half of all eligible Manasquan residents are fully vaccinated, according to data released by the state’s Department of Health on Monday.

The Department of Health’s new COVID-19 dashboard has a town-by-town breakdown by percentage of every person who has been partially or fully vaccinated in New Jersey.

  • Manasquan population with at least one dose: 56 percent of all ages, 71 percent of adults (18 and older), and 96 percent of seniors (65 and older).
  • Manasquan population fully vaccinated: 45 percent of all ages, 57 percent of adults, and 86 percent of seniors.

Officials set a goal to fully vaccinate 70 percent of all adults or 4.7 million people in the state by the end of June. As of Monday afternoon, about 3.6 million people in New Jersey have been fully vaccinated.

All people 16 and older in New Jersey are eligible for vaccination, but sixteen- and 17-year-olds can only get the Pfizer two-dose vaccine.
