Belmar Beach Patrol To Hold Charity Ocean Swim July 24
The race will raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
BELMAR, NJ – The Belmar Beach Patrol will be teaming with Run With Veronica, a local non-profit organization that raises money for pediatric cancer research, to host a one-mile ocean swim race on Saturday, July 24.
The race will begin at 8 a.m., with registration starting at 6:45 a.m. at the 10th Avenue Pavilion. Preregistration can also be done on the race’s website.
Belmar lifeguard Glen Szenzenstein started Run With Veronica after his daughter Veronica was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in February of 201. You can learn more about the charity, including how to donate, here.
