Belmar's Budget, Bond Ordinances At Council Meeting
One of the bond ordinances being introduced will be to purchase the former Belmar First Aid Squad building.

BELMAR – At the Tuesday council meeting, the Borough of Belmar council was set to introduce the 2021 municipal budget and two bond ordinances.
The first bond ordinance introduction will be for $1.5 million to purchase the building that was home to the recently disbanded Belmar First Aid Squad. The council discussed potentially purchasing the property during its last meeting on May 4.
The other bond ordinance being introduced is an amendment to one from December of last year regarding installing a new water main along 15th Avenue from East Railroad Avenue to D Street. This new ordinance would add $100,000 to the $400,000 already approved.
