Belmar Makes List Of Best Beginner Surf Spots In North America

BELMAR, NJ – We’re getting closer to the summer season, and one of our local towns just made Men’s Journal magazine for having the best waves for beginner surfers in North America.

Belmar ranked number four on their list, right behind spots like Kill Devils Hills, NC, and Hanalei Bay in Kauai, HI.

Belmar, more specifically the break across from Eastern Lines surf shop, was chosen because of its “beach and jetty breaks that are fun even when they’re not firing hurricane-aided 8-footers…along with parking spots,” according to the magazine.
