Belmar, Manasquan To Hold Tree Lightings

Much like Santa himself, you'd have to be powered by magic and fueled by the dreams of children to attend the tree lightings scheduled for Friday in Manasquan and Belmar. 

But you could try.

• The Borough of Belmar will light its tree at Pyanoe Plaza -- Main Street between 9th and 10th avenues -- Friday at 6 p.m.
• The Borough of Manasquan will light its tree on the plaza Friday at 6 p.m. along with the annual candy cane hunt, an event that attracts thousands.
