Brittany Jenee Arnold Of Brielle Dies Of Kidney Cancer At 29
Teacher, cheerleading coach will be missed by many.

Brittany Jenee Arnold, 29, of Brielle, New Jersey, courageously fought like a “Warrior” in her battle against kidney cancer. She passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at her family home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Brittany was born on September 2, 1986 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.

“Britt”, as she was affectionately known by her friends and family, attended Brielle Elementary School and graduated from Manasquan High School in June 2004. She graduated from Rutgers University with bachelor's degree in English and a master’s degree in elementary education, achieving a 4.0 GPA.
Britt was a cheerleader and served as captain for her elementary, high school and college squads. She was a bright, loving and fun, outgoing young woman who was known for her bubbly personality and caring disposition.

She was passionate about educating young people and served as a role model for her students - in school and in cheerleading. Brittany worked as a long-term substitute in the Piscataway and Lakewood school districts before earning a permanent position at Crawford-Rodriguez Elementary School in Jackson, New Jersey. Britt worked at Crawford-Rodriguez for five years, choreographed an annual dance routine for the chorus ensemble and she was well-liked and respected by not only her students, but her colleagues and school administrators as well.
For over 13 years, Britt was a long-term member and coach for the Jersey Elite All-Stars, a competitive cheerleading team based in Manasquan, NJ. Britt spent many hours with her cheerleading squad instilling in them an athletic discipline and a love for healthy competition.
Britt was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Manasquan,where as a youth, she was active in Sunday School and the Messengers choir, past President of Seacoast Missionary Baptist Association, Y.E.S/A.I.M, and she also served as an executive member of the NANBPWC, Inc. Central Jersey Youth Club.
Brittany enjoyed traveling with friends and family, biking to the beach, watching and attending Giants games and she was a self-proclaimed Jeopardy savant.
Brittany is predeceased by her father, Julian Arnold Jr., her paternal grandparents, Julian and Agnes Arnold, maternal grandparents Wallace Doman, Sr. and Bernice Graver, and her aunt, Claudia Williams, who passed away only one month ago.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother, Wendy Arnold, Brielle, NJ; her sister Juliana (Jonathan) Rieth, Brielle, NJ, her nephew, whom she adored, Rex; aunts Frances (Tony), Mt. Laurel, NJ and Lorraine Uzzle, North Wales, Pa; uncles, Karim (Tracy) Arnold, Newark, NJ, Darien Arnold, Newark, NJ, Joseph (Nicky) Williams, Neptune, NJ, Wallace Doman Jr., Atlantic City, NJ, Philip Doman, Neptune, NJ, her closest cousins, Kia Lyons and Kimberly Smith, her significant other, John Gordon, and a host of other cousins, relatives and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday July 14 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Manasquan Presbyterian Church 16 Virginia Avenue Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, Brittany’s family is asking that donations be made to one of the following worthy causes:
