Edward Casey, Retired Jersey City Police Detective, Dies at 87
Services for Belmar resident will be held on Sunday and Monday.

Edward Casey, 87, of Belmar, NJ, died on Jan. 13, 2017. He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ.
Edward became a detective for the Jersey City Police Department where he worked for 28 years before retiring in 1986. He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police of NJ and the Honor Legion of NJ. Upon retiring, Edward moved to Belmar, NJ.

Edward was predeceased by his wife, Agnes "Pat" McDonough Casey; his brothers, John and Tom; and his niece Patricia Adamkowski. He is survived by his niece, Colleen Peters of Point Pleasant; and his grandnephews Joseph Quiles of Bloomfield, Thomas Quiles of Jackson, and Wayne Adamkowski of Hoboken.
Viewing hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, 812 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach. A mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Rose Church in Belmar. Entombment will follow at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Wall Twp.
