A flash flood warning for Monmouth County is now in effect as thunderstorms and heavy rains and enter the area.
The National Weather Service issued the flash flood watch for the area, as well as additional weather warnings throughout the state.
The flash flood watch was issued for Flash Flood Watch: Warren, Morris,Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer-Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Northwestern Burlington counties.
