MANASQUAN, NJ – With July 4 less than a week away, it’s time to plan out your firework plans for this weekend’s Fourth of July festivities. Whether you want to stay close to home or travel to see an amazing show, here’s a list of all the firework displays happening in Monmouth County this upcoming week.

ABERDEEN (rescheduled)
What: Aberdeen Township Independence Day Celebration
Where: Veterans Memorial Park, Lakeshore Drive/Ocean Boulevard.
When: Friday, July 2 Now rescheduled to July 9

The return of the annual celebration will have fireworks, food trucks, bouncy castles, and more.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS (still appears to be on!)
What: Atlantic Highlands Fireworks
Where: Atlantic Highlands Harbor, 2 Simon Lake Drive
When: Friday, July 2, 9:45 p.m.

A rain date for the Atlantic Highlands celebration is set for July 3.

BELMAR (canceled)
What: 2021 Belmar Fireworks
Where: Belmar Beachfront, Ocean Avenue, Belmar
When: Friday, July 2, 9 p.m.
The fireworks are also being live-streamed on the borough's Facebook page.

COLTS NECK
What: Colts Neck Independence Day Celebration
Where: Buck Mills Park
When: Friday, July 2 at 6 p.m.

The event includes live music from the Colts Neck Community Band, Grandma Charlotte's Great American Apple Pie Contest, a flag ceremony with the NWS Earle Color Guard, food vendors, and more.

FREEHOLD
What: Freehold Township Day
Where: Michael J. Tighe Park, 65 Georgia Road, Freehold, NJ 07719
When: Saturday, July 10 from 4 to 11 p.m.

There will be a "Don't Forget the Vets" car show which will begin at 3 p.m. with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.

HAZLET (rescheduled)
What: Hazlet Fireworks
Where: Veterans Park, 1776 Union Ave.
When: Monday, July 5 at dusk (This is the rescheduled date)

The extravagant display will begin after sundown on July 5. While the event will occur at Veterans Park, the fireworks show can be viewed from local neighborhoods and parking lots.

HOLMDEL
What: Fireworks Display
Where: Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Rd.
When: Wednesday, July 7 at sundown

LONG BRANCH (canceled)

Long Branch's fireworks were supposed to be July 4 on the boardwalk, but they are postponed this year after police had to break up a rowdy party that attracted thousands on June 19. A make-up date has not yet been given by the city of Long Branch.

MANASQUAN (canceled)
What: Fourth of July Celebration
Where: Manasquan Boardwalk
When: Friday, July 2 from 3-11 p.m.

Festivities include a bike parade, a Billy Lawlor concert, and a fireworks display sponsored by Leggets. Update: The fireworks display in Manasquan is cancelled, per the Manasquan Tourism Commission.

MATAWAN (rescheduled)
What: Matawan Borough 4th of July Fireworks
Where: Ravine Dr. Bridge and Lake Lefferts Park
When: Friday, July 2 at dusk (Rain date July 9) Now rescheduled to July 9

Matawan celebrates our nation's independence with a fireworks display launched from Matawan First Presbyterian Church. In addition, there will be spectacular views around Lake Lefferts.

UNION BEACH
What: Firework display
Where: Union Beach beachfront
When: Saturday, July 3 at dusk (Rain date of July 5)
