NEPTUNE CITY – "We want to keep Sarah’s memory alive," Michael Stern said Sunday. "We want to promote art (and) media, so we can help other promising artists out there."

Stern was speaking to The Asbury Park Press about the holiday show that was held at the Headliner on Sunday to benefit the Sarah Stern Memorial Scholarship Foundation, named after his daughter.

At the event, singer Karen Bové-Quick was recovering from laryngitis, but still planned to perform her piece, "A Song for Sarah Stern," according to The Press. Bové-Quick said the idea for the song came to her after dreaming of Sarah being cared for by angels in the Shark River.
