Local, County Officials To Mark Completion Of Road Project
The intersection of County Route 20 and Main Street in Manasquan received a major makeover.
MANASQUAN – Local and county officials will hold a dedication ceremony for the recently completed joint project to improve traffic at the intersection of County Route 20 (South Street/Broad Street) and Main Street in Manasquan on May 14 at 9:00 a.m.
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the County’s Department of Public Works and Engineering, and Manasquan Mayor Edward Donovan will speak during the ceremony.
This project, which started in March, included the installation of solar-powered, pedestrian-activated flashing beacons, pedestrian bump-outs, and ADA ramps, as well as the resetting of paver sidewalks, curbing, storm drainage, and the milling and resurfacing of the entire intersection along with upgraded signage and striping
