Manasquan To Hold Public Hearing On Permit Parking, Pot Ban
The two ordinances were introduced at the last council meeting.

MANASQUAN – Two significant ordinances will be up for a public hearing at tonight’s Manasquan borough council meeting – one of which would ban marijuana consumption in certain areas such as the beach.
The two ordinances were introduced at the last meeting on May 3.
The first ordinance was to make the parking lot at Sea Watch Beach for only cars with a seasonal parking permit. The ordinance would also ban all overnight parking in the lot.

The other ordinance would ban all marijuana consumption on municipal properties, including the beachfront.
Other items on tonight’s agenda include a resolution for the approval of a grant application for improvements to Curtis Park and the introduction of an ordinance that will provide accessible parking spaces on Ocean Avenue.
