Manasquan To Send Survey For School Project
A multi-purpose athletic facility on the campus of Manasquan High School using proceeds from municipal bonds is planned.

MANASQUAN – Manasquan officials have asked for input from voters regarding a shared services agreement that would allow for a multi-purpose athletic facility on the campus of Manasquan High School, using proceeds from municipal bonds.
The Board of Education, in cooperation with the borough, is conducting a survey of the community regarding this project.
This simple, one-question survey about this project will be mailed via US Postal Service to the Manasquan registered voters who were listed on the March 2019 registered voter list –which is the most recent list available for this purpose – beginning Friday, February 12.

Most voters should expect to receive it in their mail on Saturday, February 13 or early this week.
Each survey form contains a unique ID number and PIN to maintain the integrity of the survey and to make sure each participant votes only once.

Survey participants can respond in one of two ways:
- Go to the survey website (www.manasquanschools.org/survey), enter the ID Number and PIN, and submit their response……..OR
- Detach the bottom of the paper form, check the “Yes” or “No” box, and drop the paper slip into one of three drop boxes that will be in front of Manasquan High School, Manasquan Elementary School, or the Manasquan Board of Education Offices.
All survey responses must be submitted by the deadline of Friday, February 19 at 4 p.m. If you are a registered Manasquan voter and have not received your form in the mail by Wednesday, February 17, or experience any other difficulty, you can contact the Board of Education office at 732-528-8800, Ext. 1900 for assistance, or email sharedservices@manasquan.k12.nj.us.
The Board of Education and the borough want as many participants as possible to complete this survey, so they encourage you to take the short time to do so once you receive it in the mail.
If undertaken, this project will have no impact on taxes levied by the school district or borough; it will simply refinance five current and planned, consecutive 5-year lease purchases into a longer-term municipal bond, officials said.
