Public Hearing Wednesday On Gas Company Rate Hike
Your NJNG bill would increase if the company's request is approved.

Representatives from New Jersey Natural Gas will be at the Freehold Municipal Complex on Wednesday afternoon for a hearing on a proposed rate hike for customers.
According to information posted on the Howell Township website the utility filed paperwork with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities for the adjustment which if approved would apply to all customers starting in October.
The application calls for an increase of $1.95 per month or 1.66 percent for a 100 therm residential customer. That would mean that a customer with a bill of $117.45 for July would see their bill increase to $119.40 as of October.
