Raymond Vincent Glasser Of Belmar Dies At 48

Services will be held in Belmar on Tuesday.

Raymond Vincent Glasser of Belmar passed away on Dec. 14, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. He was 48.

Raymond worked as an electronics technician for the United Stated Post office in Newark, Kinston, North Carolina, Eatontown and Red Bank. He was active in the American US Postal workers Union, Red Bank Local, where he was a union officer and shop steward.

Ray served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp from 1986 to 1990. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He earned an associate's degree from Lenoir County College in North Carolina. Ray was born in Neptune and was a lifelong resident of Belmar.

Ray is predeceased by his mother, Adele Glasser(Brown).

He is survived by his father, Raymond J. Glasser, his beloved son Joseph Raymond Glasser, and Joseph's mother, Donna Lynn Glasser. Ray served as leader for his son's Cub Scout Pack and helped with coaching his Little League baseball teams. He loved spending time with friends and attending concerts, but nothing brought him more joy than sharing good times with Joseph at the beach, Great Adventure, or their regular trips to their favorite destinations at Universal Studios in Florida.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at the Reilly Bonner Funeral Home. 801 D Street, Belmar NJ. There will be a memorial service at 6 p.m. Committal will be held privately.
