MANASQUAN—At their May 3 meeting, the Manasquan borough council introduced two ordinances that would amend two borough ordinances already in place before the summer.

The first ordinance introduced would see the parking lot at Sea Watch Beach to be only for cars with seasonal parking permits. Overnight parking in the Sea Watch Beach parking lot would be prohibited as well.

The other ordinance introduced would include smoking marijuana or any consumption of cannabis on the beachfront banned.
