The regularly scheduled meeting of the Manasquan School Board has been canceled and rescheduled for August 1 in the high school auditorium. Mark your calendars.
Allaire Village has posted its summer hours. Check out the bakery for some grub or the various displays and shops open with extended hours now.
Heavy rains continue this morning with thunder and lightning, so it may not be the best beach day. Many lifeguards closed beaches yesterday evening to the threat of lightning strike, such as at Island Beach State Park.
