Kathleen Falcon, 78, and her passenger, Candido Falcon, 98, both of Whiting, were taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River for treatment of minor injuries following the crash that happened about 11:30 a.m., Lt. Vincent Manco said.

Kathleen Falcon was driving a 2009 Buick Lucerne north on Route 539 and turned left onto Route 70 in front of a southbound 2015 Tesla Model S driven by Carl Pachmayer, 34, of Phoenixville, PA. Pachmayer had the right-of-way, Manco said.
