MANCHESTER, NJ — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Manchester Day, which typically kicks off the Fourth of July celebrations, and Lakehurst’s car show, Independence Day parade and fireworks have been canceled, but here are some options where you can watch fireworks.

What: Seaside Heights Fourth of July Fireworks

When: 9:30 p.m. July 4
Fireworks return to Seaside Heights this summer every Thursday, but there's an additional 30-minute fireworks display scheduled for the Fourth of July.

What: Beachwood's Fireworks Over the Toms River
Where: Bayside Beach, Beachwood
When: July 4
The popular donation-funded pyrotechnics show that draws thousands to the banks of the Toms River will be back lighting up the sky. What: Lavallette Patriotic Concert and Fireworks
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard
When: 8 p.m. July 11
The borough's patriotic concert and fireworks cap off the July 4th week.
