4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Near Manchester, Lakehurst

MANCHESTER, NJ — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

Manchester Day, which typically kicks off the Fourth of July celebrations, and Lakehurst’s car show, Independence Day parade and fireworks may have been canceled, but here are some options where you can watch fireworks.

July 4 Festivities

What: Jenkinson's Independence Day Fireworks
Where: Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach
When: Dusk, July 4
Fourth of July fireworks return to Jenkinson's Boardwalk this summer.

What: Seaside Heights Fourth of July Fireworks
Where: Boardwalk, Seaside Heights
When: 9:30 p.m. July 4
Fireworks return to Seaside Heights this summer every Thursday, but there's an additional 30-minute fireworks display scheduled for the Fourth of July.

What: Beachwood's Fireworks Over the Toms River
Where: Bayside Beach, Beachwood
When: July 4
The popular donation-funded pyrotechnics show that draws thousands to the banks of the Toms River will be back lighting up the sky. What: Lavallette Patriotic Concert and Fireworks
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard
When: 8 p.m. July 11
The borough's patriotic concert and fireworks are set for the Sunday following July 4th.
