Cody J. Watson, Manchester Public Works Employee, Mourned
Funeral services have been set for the 20-year-old, who was killed in a car accident on Dec. 22.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Funeral services have been set for Cody J. Watson, an employee of the Manchester Township Department of Public Works, who died Dec. 22, 2018. He was 20 years old.
Cody was born in Mount Holly and lived in Browns Mills his whole life. He was a 2017 graduate of Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford and was a member of the BBB Hunting Club and was working for the public works department in Manchester Township. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, hunting, camping and spending time with his friends.
Cody was killed in a car accident in Woodland Township in the early hours of Dec. 22, police said.

"While I did not personally know Cody, by all accounts of those who did, he was kind, friendly, a hard worker, full of life and 'one of the guys,' " Manchester Township Mayor Kenneth Palmer said. "At a time in the year when we celebrate and enjoy being with our family and friends, his unexpected passing resonates deeper and focuses our perspective on life."
"Our thoughts are with Cody's family during this difficult time," the township said in a statement on Facebook. "He will be missed."

He is survived by his parents Heather and Jay Watson, his brother Kyle; his uncles and aunts: Pat and Denise Emmons, Dawn and Paul Tuliano and Shawn Applegate; his cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29 at noon at Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the church. Interment will follow the service in the New Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton.
Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Holly.
