Crash Closes Route 571 For Hours In Manchester
Ridgeway Road was closed late into the evening as power company crews replaced a utility pole.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Ridgeway Road was closed for more than 11 hours on Monday between Whitesville Road and Commonwealth Boulevard after a motor vehicle crash that took down a utility pole, Manchester police said.
The crash knocked out power to about 1,600 homes and businesses nearby, according to Jersey Central Power & Light.
The road was expected to reopen about midnight, Manchester police said.
