Family-Friendly Christopher Westfall's Whiting Concert Postponed
The concert set for Saturday afternoon was rescheduled as a result of the snowstorm.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The family-friendly Christmas concert performance by Christopher Westfall, scheduled for Saturday in Whiting, has been rescheduled to later in December, organizers announced.
Westfall was set to appear at the Whiting United Methodist Church, 55 Lacey Rd./Route 614, Whiting on Saturday afternoon, but the threatened winter weather prompted the rescheduling.
Westfall now is scheduled to perform at the church at 3 p.m. on Dec. 30, organizers said.

Westfall's repertoire includes familiar and lesser-known holiday melodies, the singer-songwriter's interpretation of the works of other artists, and his original compositions. He accompanies himself on guitar and piano.
"His clear tenor voice has been compared to an eagle in flight, soaring with spirit and emotion. A passionate troubadour, he invites the audience to participate and join him on a warm and memorable musical journey," organizers said.

"Hearing Christopher for the first time, audiences respond to his warmth and compassion as they are brought together in spirit, welcoming the New Year," organizers said. The concert also will honor the memory of Rev. Shelley Potter Abrahamsen.
The concert is at the Whiting United Methodist Church, 55 Lacey Rd./Rt. 614, Whiting from 3 pm to 5 pm. Tickets are $15.
