Fire Hydrant Flushing Scheduled In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township residents are being alerted that the township utilities authority will be flushing fire hydrants in the township in April and May.

Each community will be notified when flushing begins in their area, utilities officials said. Hours will vary during the day as well as during the night.

When the hydrants are being flushed, residents will experience a difference in pressure and discoloration. Run your cold-water tap only until it runs clear.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," officials said.
