Have Breakfast With Santa Saturday At Manchester Fire Company
After helping the township kick off the holiday season, the Jolly Ol' Elf will be back in town for breakfast.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township young and its young at heart are invited to join Santa Claus for breakfast this weekend at the Manchester Volunteer Fire Company.
The breakfast is open to kids of all ages and runs form 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Tickets are $7 and children under 12 are $3, Call 732-575-0992 for tickets in advance, can also be purchased at the door. The fire company is located at 545 Commonwealth Boulevard.
Santa is back for this visit after helping the township kick off its holiday celebration, which it did with the tree lighting last Friday. Hundreds of residents gathered at the Manchester Township Municipal Complex for the annual Christmas tree lighting, which included performances by Shayna Goble, Kayla Fata, and Amber Lowe; Cub Scout Pack 44; the Manchester School Chorus; and Cassidy Gobel.

Mayor Kenneth Palmer offered remarks and Rev. David Rittinger of Whiting Bible Church delivered the invocation.

Santa Claus arrived aboard a Manchester Volunteer Fire Company engine and then sat for photos and to listen to children's wishes while families enjoyed refreshments provided by Manchester Manor, Whiting Health Care, Pines at Whiting, Crestwood Manor, and La Bove Grande.

The Manchester First Aid and Rescue Squad, Manchester Volunteer Fire Company, Manchester Buildings and Grounds Staff, Municipal Staff, Social and Senior Service Staff, and Joe Tomei assisted the Manchester Recreation department, which hosted the event.
