Looking For Fireworks? Lakehurst Has A Grand Fourth Planned
The borough's Fourth of July celebration is a two-day event -- check it out.

If you’re looking for fireworks near Manchester to celebrate the Fourth of July, look no further than its next-door neighbor, Lakehurst.
The borough has a two-day Independence Day celebration planned.
Fireworks begin the celebration on Friday, July 3, at dusk at Lake Horicon off Union Avenue. If it rains, the fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 11.

On Saturday, July 4, head to Lakehurst Elementary School, 301 Union Ave, for an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration.
It begins at 8 a.m. with the 25th annual Antique Car Show, which draws more than antique cars vying for trophies. It runs until 4 p.m. and there will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, sponsored by the Borough of Lakehurst Historical Society. The raindate for the car show is Sunday, July 5.

At 11 a.m. marchers will parade down Union Avenue to celebrate the day. Line up at Railroad Avenue at 10:45 a.m.
At the lake on the Fourth, an assortment of crafters will be displaying their wares from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Crafters are welcome to attend. There is no charge for your space but crafters should register by calling 732-657-4141.
