Manchester Man's Murder Focus Of Dateline NBC Report

Stephen Moore of Manchester was killed in August 2010; his ex-wife and her father were convicted of murder.

When the body of 42-year-old Stephen Moore turned up in the trunk of a burning car in August 2010, it was the beginning of what turned into a twisted case of murder and conspiracy that startled many residents at the Jersey Shore.

The story of the Manchester man’s murder by his ex-wife and her father, and the conspiracy that landed them and her mother in jail, is the subject of a Dateline NBC report this Friday.

“Family Affair” airs at 9 p.m., and tells the story of how investigators solved the murder of Moore. His ex-wife, Kathleen Dorsett, and her parents, Thomas and Lesley, pleaded guilty to their roles in the case in May 2013. Kathleen Dorsett is serving a 58-year prison term, and her father 45 years in the case.
