Manchester Opens Karate, Tumbling Summer Programs
The recreation department is accepting registrations for those programs; it is hopeful of holding other summer programs as well.

MANCHESTER, NJ — If you're looking for recreation programs for the summer, Manchester Township is opening some of its activities and accepting registrations through its website.
The township recreation department is accepting registration for its karate program, which starts July 6, and for tumbling classes at Spirit Factory, which start July 9.
Due to restrictions from the coronavirus pandemic, parents will not be permitted to wait in the lobby at Spirit Factory, the recreation department said. Tumbling classes are $80 for 10 sessions and the classes will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Thursday.

The recreation department has additional programs it is hoping to roll out, and is accepting registrations for those who want to secure their spot. Payment will be requested when the programs are approved.
Summer camp has been canceled for 2020 due to the risks surrounding the coronavirus, Manchester Mayor Ken Palmer said.
