Manchester Police Seek Suspect In Saw Theft
A tip identified a Pleasantville man as the suspect in a shoplifting incident at Lowe's, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are searching for a man in connection with the theft of a $600 miter saw from Lowe's Home Improvement store in Manchester.
Jose L. Echevarria, 39, has been identified by a tipster as the man seen in surveillance video leaving the Lowe's in Manchester with the Dewalt miter saw without paying for it, Manchester police said Thursday.
Manchester police received the tip not long after photos of a suspect were posted to the department's social media, police said. The photos, from surveillance video obtained by Patrolman Sage Sysol during the initial investigation, showed a suspect and a white van he drove off in, police said.

Detective Joseph Fastige investigated and was able to confirm Echevarria, whose last known address was in Pleasantville, as the suspect, police said.
Echevarria’s whereabouts are unknown; there is a warrant for his arrest on a shoplifting charge, police said.
