Manchester Police Seek Tips In $25K Theft From Vehicle
Police say the cash, from a business, was taken from a locked vehicle; insurance fraud has been ruled out.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are seeking the public's help in finding the person who stole $25,000 in cash from a locked vehicle in the Pine Lake Park section of the township.
The theft happened in late December, police said. The money, from a local business, was to be transferred to a bank the next day.
Police investigating the theft have determined it is not an attempt at insurance fraud, the department's Facebook post said, and they are hoping someone has information on who took the money or the location of the money.
