Manchester Residents Sound Off on Snow Plowing

MANCHESTER, NJ - Winter Storm Jonas brought between two to three feet of snow to New Jersey causing approximately 90,000 power outages and coastal flooding in the southern part of the state.

As of Monday, the State of Emergency has been lifted, power has been restored to most of NJ and bridges and tunnels to New York City have been reopened.

Still, hundreds of New Jersey school districts announced closures and motorists are warned to continue driving with extra caution.

• “No they need to tighten corners and intersections Iselin, Clark, and Colonia!”

• “No- we are not happy the roads.”

• “Horrible. They came down our street once. Commonwealth is a mess!”

• “In Cedar Glen Lakes our roads were done quickly, but the driveways are badly blocked, and it will take them a long time to get to all of them.”

• “Good job DPW. You guys are awesome.”

• “Very much kudos to our road crew. You guys are second to none. Thank you.”
