Manchester Schools Close Monday Due To Storm
The district closed its buildings completely; hazardous driving conditions are anticipated, the National Weather Service said.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township students and staff will have a snow day Monday following a winter storm that dropped several inches of snow across New Jersey on Sunday, district officials said.
The National Weather Service forecast was for snow and slush to turn icy overnight as temperatures drop, making driving hazardous on Monday.
“Due to the inclement weather and unsafe conditions, all Manchester Township schools, including the Regional Day School, will be closed on Monday,” the district said on its website. “School closure means that there will be no in-person or remote learning and this will be considered a snow day. This day will be rescheduled at a later date in the year as part of the 180-day requirement.”
